KATHMANDU: Nepal will begin its AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualification campaign today with a match against hosts Bhutan at Changlimithang Stadium, Thimphu.

The Group A match kicks off at 5:45 PM local time.

Nepal aims for a strong start, buoyed by recent emphatic wins over Bhutan in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship in Dhaka, where Nepal triumphed 6–1 and 8–0.

Despite these previous results, Nepal’s head coach Yam Prasad Gurung stressed that the team will treat every group match with seriousness and respect for all opponents.
