KATHMANDU: NEPSE ended the week on a positive note Thursday, rising 18.30 points to close at 2,850, with all sector indices gaining.

The market remained green throughout, peaking at 2,861 before slight selling pressure eased gains. Turnover rose to Rs 8.53 billion from Rs 7.63 billion.

Of the traded stocks, 187 gained while 62 declined. Finance led sectoral gains at 1.38%, followed by manufacturing (1.12%) and others.

Sikles Hydropower was the top gainer (+9.81%), while Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta saw the biggest loss (–8.26%).

Liberty Energy, Shivam Cement, and Himalayan Reinsurance were among the most traded stocks.
