KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today.
According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 139 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 140 rupees 51 paisa.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 163.25 and the selling rate at Rs 163.95, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 189.14 and the selling rate at Rs 189.96, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 174.88 and the selling rate at Rs 175.63.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 91.35 and the selling rate at Rs 91.74, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at Rs 101.64 and the selling rate at Rs 102.08, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at Rs 109.03 and the selling rate at Rs 109.50.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 53 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 57 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 62 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 70 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is 37 rupees 28 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 44 paise, the buying rate of 1 Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees 38 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 54 paise.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 33 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 34 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 09 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 25 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 18 paise and the selling rate is 33 rupees 25 paise, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 10 rupees 09 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 14 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 75 paise and the selling rate is 14 rupees 81 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 87 paise and the selling rate is 21 rupees 96 paise.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.95 and the selling rate at Rs 18.03, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 458.03 and the selling rate at Rs 459.99, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 371.11 and the selling rate at Rs 372.71, the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 363.43 and the selling rate at Rs 364.98. The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
