KATHMANDU: From early morning, youths have begun gathering spontaneously at the parliament premises in New Baneshwor. They have carried no banners or placards.

The protest follows the deaths of 19 people during Monday’s Gen Z demonstrations against corruption and the social media ban.

Instead of addressing the concerns raised by the youth, the government adopted repressive measures, which led to the tragic incident. The government is now facing widespread criticism.
