KATHMANDU: The Gen Z-led protest has spiraled out of control across the country.

Demonstrators stormed the Parliament building in Baneshwor, causing extensive damage and setting parts of it on fire.

Police units from across the valley have been unable to control the crowd and have been forced to step out in plain clothes to manage the situation.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has just tendered his resignation.
