MAKWANPUR: As many as 166 inmates escaped from various jails across the country have been arrested by the security persons in the district.
A joint team comprising the Nepali Army, the Armed Police Force, and the Nepal Police took them under control from various parts of the district.
The District Police Office, Makwanpur informed that of the total inmates taken under control, 78 were fled from Bhimphedi jail and four from Child Correction Home of Makwanpur, seven from Nakkhu jail and two from central jail of Kathmandu, one from Kaski jail, two from Tanahu jail, and 35 others from the jails unknown.
