KATHMANDU: The Gen-Z movement has refused to hold discussions with representatives of President Ram Chandra Paudel, demanding direct dialogue with the Head of State himself.
Posting on the ‘Hami Nepali’ Facebook page, protest leader Sudan Gurung revealed he had been waiting for the President for nine hours, but no meeting had taken place.
“We want to talk directly to the President. I will not speak with his representatives,” Gurung declared.
President Paudel has assigned his advisors and representatives to initiate dialogue, assuring that he would later join the negotiations alongside the Gen-Z team rather than holding individual meetings.
