KATHMANDU: The newly-appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki has garlanded the statues of the martyrs at the martyrs’ memorial at Lainchaur and Sahidgate today.

PM Karki reached Lainchaur and Sahidgate this morning and garlanded the martyrs’ statues.

The Prime Minister has now left for Singha Durbar for assuming office after the garlanding ceremony.

President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Karki to the post of Prime Minister of the Interim Government on September 12.
