KATHMANDU: Traffic has resumed in both directions on the Nagdhunga–Muglin road following the removal of a landslide in Beni Ghat-Rorang Rural Municipality-10, Dhading.
Police confirmed that it took nearly 10 hours to clear the debris.
The dry landslide occurred early Tuesday morning, around 5:40 a.m., completely blocking the road and causing long traffic jams.
Numerous passengers were stranded until authorities managed to reopen the route.
Police and local teams worked swiftly to ensure the safety of travelers and restore normal traffic flow.
Authorities have urged drivers to exercise caution while passing through landslide-prone areas, especially during the monsoon season, when such incidents are frequent.
