KATHMANDU: The Nepali women’s national cricket team is set to face Malaysia today in the fourth match of the international T20 series.

Nepal, led by captain Indu Barma, trails 2–1 in the five-match series and must win today’s game to keep the series alive.

A victory for Malaysia, on the other hand, would seal the series with one match remaining.

The second match saw a strong comeback from Nepal, which successfully chased Malaysia’s 92-run target in 16.2 overs with six wickets remaining.

However, in the third encounter, Nepal fell short once again. Chasing a target of 121 runs, the team was bowled out for 107 runs in 20 overs, losing by 13 runs.

The fifth and final match of the series will be played on October 8.
