KATHMANDU: The semifinal lineup for the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has been finalized following the completion of highly competitive quarterfinal matches.

The battle for a spot in the final will feature defending champions Argentina alongside powerhouse European nations France, Spain, and England. These four title contenders are expected to put up a fierce fight to secure their ticket to the ultimate match.

In the first semifinal, France will clash with Spain on Tuesday, July 14, at the Dallas Stadium. Scheduled to kick off at 11:45 PM Nepali Time (NST), this match is highly anticipated as an exciting showdown between two of European football’s giants.

The second semifinal will see Argentina face off against England on Wednesday, July 15, at the Atlanta Stadium. The defending champions, Argentina, will look to overcome a strong English side to book their back-to-back final appearance.

The winners of both semifinal matches will compete for the prestigious trophy in the Grand Final on Sunday, July 19, at the New York–New Jersey Stadium.
