SUDURPASCHIM: The Sudurpashchim provincial government has announced a financial aid of Rs two lakh for the family of Bipin Joshi from Kanchanpur, who tragically lost his life in the Hamas attack in Israel.
Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah stated that this aid is being provided as humanitarian support to Joshi’s family. Previously, the provincial government had decided to provide financial assistance of Rs two lakh to families affected by the Hamas attack.
To date, this amount has already been disbursed to the families of seven victims, and now Bipin’s family will also benefit from this assistance. Bipin Joshi was among ten Nepali students who traveled to Israel for an internship under the ‘Learn and Earn’ programme after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from Sudurpaschim University two years ago, and were caught in the Hamas attack.
Chief Minister Shah conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the late Joshi and expressed sympathy to his family members.
Bipin Joshi’s body was transported to Dhangadhi airport this evening via the Nepal Army’s Sky Truck, and has since been taken from the airport to Kanchanpur.
