KATHMANDU: Nepal will take on the Maldives today in the ongoing CAVA Men’s Volleyball Cup.

The match between Nepal and the Maldives is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM (local time) on Friday.

The tournament, being held in Bangladesh, features six South Asian nations.

Earlier today, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan are set to clash at 1 PM, while Bangladesh will play Sri Lanka at 5:30 PM.

On Thursday, Nepal suffered a narrow 3–2 defeat against host nation Bangladesh.

With that loss, Nepal now faces strong pressure to win today’s crucial match against the Maldives to stay in contention in the competition.
