KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced plans to organize a “Broad Political Dialogue” on October 31 and simultaneously launch a voter registration facilitation campaign.

The decisions were made during a two-day party secretariat meeting, General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti informed.

The dialogue aims to provide an open platform for discussion among new political forces, independent thinkers, activists, and representatives of the youth generation, acknowledging the risk of political regression due to lack of collaboration.

It will focus on shared understanding of movement origins and outcomes, democratic values, national development, promotion of national unity, and strategic use of upcoming elections for broad political cooperation and transformation.

Burlakoti said the voter registration facilitation campaign, aimed at assisting youth and citizens, will run from ward to district levels until November 11.

Secretariat member Ganesh Parajuli will coordinate the campaign in cooperation with the party’s central campaign and publicity department.
