RUPANDEHI: The Butwal Bench of Tulsipur High Court has postponed the hearing of the case involving Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane and former Gorkha Media director Chhabilal Joshi.

The case scheduled on the bench of Judges Om Prakash Aryal and Tej Narayan Paudel, was delayed after Joshi’s lawyer requested a postponement.

Lamichhane’s hearing, scheduled immediately afterward, was also deferred.

The next hearing is expected next week.

Both are in custody over the Butwal’s Supreme Cooperative embezzlement and organized crime case.

Joshi is at Bhairahawa Prison, while Lamichhane was recently transferred to Nakkhu Prison.
