KAVRE: A 19-year-old JCB co-driver died after being crushed between two tippers at Betini Bagar along the Indrawati River in Ward No. 12 of Mandandeupur Municipality, Kavrepalanchowk, on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Devendra Tamang of Panchkhal Municipality-8, Hokse. According to police, the accident occurred when a sand-loaded tipper was reversing and pinned him against another tipper parked nearby.

Police said one of the tipper drivers fled the scene and remains at large, while the other has been taken into custody. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
