KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Lumbini Province Assembly is scheduled for today.

Starting today, the theoretical discussion on the budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 will commence.

According to the Province Assembly Secretariat, the tentative agenda for the tenth meeting of the assembly today includes a theoretical discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure (the budget) for the fiscal year 2026/27.

As per the agenda, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Dhanendra Karki, will present a proposal in the assembly to initiate the theoretical discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for FY 2026/27.

Members of the Province Assembly will share their views on the proposal, and Minister Karki is scheduled to answer the questions raised during the discussion.
