BHARATPUR: Two young men, 22-year-old Ashok Bhandari and 19-year-old Rajib Gurung, died early Monday morning after their scooter crashed into the back of a truck traveling in the same direction near the Atithi Party Palace in Bharatpur-15, Chitwan.

The victims sustained critical injuries in the collision and passed away at 2:40 AM while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Following the accident, police detained the 27-year-old truck driver, Babulal Thokar, and have launched a thorough investigation into the incident.
