KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased in the local market on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Gold prices rose by Rs 700 per tola (11.66 grams), with the yellow metal trading at Rs 239,700 per tola today.
On Friday, gold had been traded at Rs 239,000 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver declined. Silver is being traded at Rs 3,055 per tola on Sunday, the federation said.
