BAGMATI: Kanti Lokpath, one of the short routes linking Hetauda city to the Kathmandu valley, has been obstructed since early morning after a truck somersaulted on the road.

The truck (Na 3 Kha 3192) ferrying medicines from Birgunj to Kathmandu lost control with a brake failure at Baguwa of Bhimphedi rural municipality-8, Makwanpur. The somersaulted vehicle completely blocked the traffic, according to Puskar Bogati, DSP at Makwanpur District Police Office.

Many vehicles are stranded on the road after blockage. Efforts are on to resume the vehicular movement after removing the conked out carrier, the police added.
