KATHMANDU: Dawid Malan’s superb batting powered Chitwan Rhinos to a formidable 177-run target against Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
After winning the toss in Kirtipur, Chitwan posted 176 for 4 in 20 overs.
Malan top-scored with a commanding 80 off 54 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes, marking his first half-century of the tournament.
Arjun Saud added a brisk 52, forming a 112-run opening stand with Malan. Captain Kushal Malla remained unbeaten on 30.
For Janakpur, Anil Kumar Sah, Rupesh Singh, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, and Maaz Sadaqat each claimed one wicket.
