Home Minister Aryal asks Gen Z forces to be responsible

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has suggested that Gen Z youths should be responsible and mature in all the indicators of good governance.

Launching the Public Announcement System (PAS) and token system at the Kathmandu District Administration Office on Friday, Home Minister Aryal asked the Gen Z forces to be mature and responsible in regard to the good governance indicators. He said that human rights, corruption control and transparency were the key indicators of good governance.

The incumbent government was formed on the foundation Gen Z Movement, he mentioned, adding there was no alternative to strengthen and institutionalize the foundation of the movement.

Minister Aryal said that the transformation achieved from the Gen Z Movement should be translated into practice through good practice.

The new generation should reach a stature to practice and offer training to others in all indicators of good governance.

The PAS system started in the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has established a new relationship between the citizens and civil servants, the Home Minister added.

On the occasion, Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kathmandu, Ishwar Raj Paudel, said he was happy to begin the technology-driven and service user-friendly services from the new building of the District Administration Office.

During the event, Aryal said that Friday marked the 100 days of his office as the Home Minister and shared that the aspirations of Gen Z and their rights have been ensured in more than 50 major milestones and remarkable achievements were made in service reforms and good governance.
