KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and RPP Nepal have officially united.

The unification between the RPP led by Rajendra Lingden and RPP Nepal led by Kamal Thapa was announced through a declaration program on Wednesday.

Lingden and Thapa had signed an agreement to unify the parties on 24 December, formally announcing their decision at that time. The official declaration of unity, however, was made on Wednesday.
