KATHMANDU: Minister for Education and Sports, Sashmit Pokharel, has pledged facilitation in revising the bill on establishment and operation of national forensic laboratory.

Minister Pokharel made such commitment while attending the discussion on the bill at Education, Health and Information Technology Committee under the House of Representatives on Thursday.

The bill passed by the Upper House was sent to Committee under the HoR for further discussion. The Committee members stressed that feedback of the experts need to be addressed to make the bill convincing.

The Minister viewed further discussion could be held on sorting out the problems of DNA test and judicial process. He was also for making amendments to the bill.
