KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said today that everyone must be responsible for a free and fair election.

Addressing a programme held here to welcome new entrants to the party, he stated that there is a need for fair elections and to establish the Nepali Communist Party as a strong national force in order to free the country from the current crisis.

Coordinator Dahal claimed that recently there has been a rapid increase in the influx into the NCP from various leftist parties including the Revolutionary Communist Party and UML, stating his party will become the leading force if undesirable activities during the election are stopped.

“Now let’s strengthen the party to ensure the nation’s and people’s interests. After the people’s democratic revolution, everyone must unite and move forward for the socialist revolution,” the NCP Coordinator exhorted the party leaders and members.

On the occasion, 52 youths from various districts, including Kavrepalanchok, have joined the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), after quitting from various political parties, including the Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal.

Welcoming the newcomers, Coordinator Dahal requested them to work honestly for the country and its people.
