BEIRUT: At least eight people were killed in Israeli strikes across Lebanon on Thursday as the military intensified its operations against Hezbollah targets. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the attacks included air raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, particularly Ghobeiry and Haret Hreik, areas Israel claims host facilities linked to Hezbollah’s aerial units.

Among the victims was a family of four killed in southern Lebanon. Authorities said the latest strikes come as fighting escalates along the Israel-Lebanon border, with Hezbollah launching rockets and drones toward northern Israel.

Since Monday, Lebanese officials say at least 75 people have been killed and more than 400 injured in Israeli attacks. The renewed offensive has displaced over 300,000 residents, while Israel says it has struck more than 320 targets across the country.
