RAUTAHAT: In Rautahat Constituency Number 1, Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured a decisive victory, receiving 28,946 votes.

Chaudhary defeated Ajay Gupta of CPN (UML), who garnered 10,693 votes.

Former Minister Anil Kumar Jha, now with the Nepali Congress, came third with 8,574 votes, while former Prime Minister and Nepali Communist Party co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal finished fourth with 7,669 votes.

The results mark a significant win for RSP in the constituency.
