DHANGADHI: Police have arrested three individuals in Kailali district on charges of gang-raping an 18-year-old girl. The incident reportedly took place within Ward No. 16 of the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City.

The District Police Office, Kailali, identified the suspects as 21-year-old Pradeep Chand, 17-year-old Paras Aidi, and 16-year-old Bishal Budha, all residents of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-16.

Following a complaint regarding the sexual assault, a police team deployed from the local jurisdiction apprehended the three youths.

According to authorities, the suspects have been remanded into the custody of the District Police Office, Kailali, and further legal procedures and detailed investigations into the case are currently underway.
