MORANG: Police arrested two individuals today with the illicit drug brown sugar from Golchok in Urlabari Municipality-7, Morang.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Urlabari, intercepted and searched a motorcycle (Pra 1-02-050 Pa 1960). During the search, police recovered 14 grams and 720 milligrams of brown sugar from the rider, 29-year-old Keshav Shrestha of Urlabari-6. Additionally, 9 grams and 400 milligrams of the contraband was seized from the pillion rider, 24-year-old Nischal Gurung of Urlabari-5.

According to the District Police Office, Morang, further investigation is underway regarding both individuals arrested with the narcotics.
