KATHMANDU: While the results of the House of Representatives election held on Thursday are still coming in, the investigation commission formed to probe the human and physical damage caused during the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9 last year has submitted its report to the government.

The report was handed over to Prime Minister Sushila Karki by Gauri Bahadur Karki, the chairperson of the investigation commission. According to the Prime Minister’s press advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal, the report has already been submitted.

The commission, formed on 21 September 2025 under the leadership of former judge Karki, was initially given a three-month mandate to complete its work. However, after it failed to finish the task within the original timeframe, the government extended the deadline three times.
