JABRIYA: The Nepali Embassy in Kuwait has urged Nepalis to follow all instructions issued by local authorities and remain cautious amid the developing situation in West Asia, marking the embassy’s third advisory on the matter.
The embassy warned that regular flights will resume only after Kuwaiti airspace reopens, advising travelers to check updates on the Kuwait Aviation Authority website and stay in touch with their airlines or travel agencies.
It also informed that the Kuwaiti government has extended visit visas by one month. For holders of Kuwaiti Civil IDs currently outside the country, previous rules where employees would lose their Civil ID if away for over six months and domestic workers for over four months have been extended by three months, effective February 28.
The embassy further requested other visa holders to coordinate with their employers to renew visas before expiration. It emphasized that the embassy remains open for essential consular services to assist Nepalis in need.
