KATHMANDU: Gold prices have seen a significant drop in the local market in Nepal.

On Thursday, the price decreased by 12,500 rupees per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price set for today is 282,000 rupees per tola. On Friday, it was traded at 294,500 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has decreased by 355 rupees per tola, set at 4,540 rupees. On Friday, silver was traded at 4,895 rupees per tola.
