KATHMANDU: Bonus shares of four companies have been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), making them eligible for trading in the secondary market from Tuesday.

The listed companies include Universal Power Company, NLG Insurance, Bindhyabasini Hydropower, and Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance.

Universal Power has listed 2,051,936 units of bonus shares at a 9 percent rate. Similarly, Bindhyabasini Hydropower has listed 564,900 units of bonus shares at a 5 percent rate.

Among insurance companies, NLG Insurance has listed 1,026,089 units of bonus shares at a 4 percent rate, while Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has listed 2,041,459 units at a 4 percent rate.

These newly listed bonus shares will be available for trading in the secondary market starting tomorrow.
