KATHMANDU: The Department of Drug Administration (DDA) under the Ministry of Health and Population will implement a mandatory entry card system from April 15 to streamline and secure access to its premises.
According to the Department, the system will apply to authorized representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturing and importing companies and firms, aiming to reduce unnecessary crowding and restrict entry of unrelated individuals.
To obtain an entry card, companies must submit details including the representative’s name, designation, address, national ID number, and photograph, as well as the company name, address, and type.
The requirement does not apply to service seekers visiting for pharmacy registration, renewal, or licensing, nor to students on study visits or tours.
The Department has instructed all stakeholders to submit required details by April 13.
