Govt. slashes 50% tax on petroleum products

KATHMANDU: The government has reduced the customs duty and infrastructure tax on petroleum products by 50 percent.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday decided to grant a 50 percent discount on the customs duty and infrastructure tax of petroleum products.

Minister for Federal Affairs and Administration and Land Management Pratibha Rawal stated that the customs duty and infrastructure tax on petroleum products have been decreased by 50 percent.
