KATHMANDU: Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said western and local winds continue to affect Nepal’s weather.

The department has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Madhesh Province today.

Cloudy conditions are likely in hilly and mountainous areas, while most Terai regions will remain mainly fair.

Hot weather is expected in parts of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim Province Terai.
