BARA: UNICEF Nepal, with support from the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy of the United States Government, has delivered 10,000 cartons of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) to the Central Medical Store in Pathlaiya, Bara.

This life-saving treatment is designated for children with severe acute malnutrition.

In coordination with the Government of Nepal, the consignment will be distributed to health facilities and communities across the country, helping children receive critical nutrition support closer to home.

The delivery comes as the world marks 30 years since the introduction of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food.

According to officials, this delivery demonstrates how the United States supports a stronger health system in Nepal and contributes to greater health security and stability across the region.
