KATHMANDU: Kuala Lumpur: Nepal set a target of 127 run to Malaysia in second semi-final, match of Asian Games Women’s Qualifier at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia today.

Batting first Nepal scored 126 run in the stipulated 20 over in a loss of 6 wickets.

To gather a respected score Nepal’s captain Indu Barma scored 46 runs, Kabita Kunwar 33, Rubi Poddar 17, Puja Mahato 15, Sony Pakhrin 6 and Sita Rana Magar scored 2 runs.

Malaysia’s bawler Winifred Duraisingam took 2 wickets whereas Aisya Eleesa and Mahirah Izzati Ismail picked single wicket each.
