KATHMANDU: TikToker Tulsi Adhikari has been arrested in Thailand with the assistance of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).

Following the issuance of a Red Corner Notice against her, Interpol tracked her location to Thailand, apprehended her, and subsequently deported her back to Nepal.

According to Gautam Mishra, Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Range Lalitpur, Adhikari was taken into custody immediately upon landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 1:00 AM on Sunday.

Adhikari is currently under investigation for fraud, criminal extortion, and money laundering. The investigation began after Kumar Chimoriya, the owner of ‘Hamro Automobiles’ located in Satdobato, filed a complaint against Adhikari—who operates ‘Tulasa Collection’—at the Satdobato Police Circle on August 7, 2025.

Additionally, a separate complaint had been lodged against her at the Department of Money Laundering Investigation on March 3, 2025, leading the department to launch its formal investigation on November 6, 2025.

According to SP Mishra, Adhikari’s citizenship certificate indicates that she is a permanent resident of Sunwal Municipality-6 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West).

Police reports further state that she is accused of illegally acquiring assets worth more than Rs 40 million.
