LALITPUR: Popular TikToker Tulsi Adhikari, 32, will be presented before the Lalitpur District Court on Monday following her weekend arrest in Thailand under an Interpol Red Notice.

Adhikari is accused of running an organized racket that extorted Rs 65.2 million from an auto businessman by threatening to file a false rape case against him following a consensual encounter in 2018.

Police investigations reveal that the extorted millions were systematically laundered and invested across Nepal and China.

Currently held in Lalitpur police custody, she faces five severe criminal charges, including extortion, fraud, organized crime, and money laundering.
