RSP steps up general convention preparations, forms high-level organizing committee

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has accelerated preparations for its first General Convention, scheduled to be held in Chitwan from June 21 to 23, by forming a high-level Main Organizing Committee led by party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

According to party spokesperson Kabindra Burlakoti, the committee has been constituted to ensure the successful and well-managed conduct of the party’s maiden national convention.

The committee includes Vice-Chairman Swarnim Wagle, General Secretaries Kabindra Burlakoti and Bhupadev Shah, Joint General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya, Treasurer Lima Adhikari, Joint Treasurer Basumaya Tamang, Spokesperson Manish Jha, and Secretariat Members Biraj Bhakta Shrestha and Deepak Raj Bohara.

Other members include Ganesh Parajuli, Sobita Gautam, Shisir Khanal, Hari Dhakal, Sarita Gyawali, and Sagar Dhakal.

Burlakoti said the committee has been expanded to include all central committee members and the party’s provincial chairpersons from all seven provinces, giving the organizing body a broader and more representative structure ahead of the convention.
