PARBAT: Two people lost their lives after a truck and a motorcycle collided head-on at Armadi in Kushma Municipality-2, Parbat.

The accident occurred when a truck (Ga 1 Ka 2929) heading towards Mustang from Pokhara collided with an oncoming motorcycle (Dha 2 Pa 3805). The deceased have been identified as the motorcyclist, Hira Garbuja (approx. 40) of Jaljala Rural Municipality-9, and the pillion rider, Sujan Bhandari (approx. 35) of Kushma Municipality-1.

According to Police Inspector Rajan Patel of the District Police Office, Parbat, both sustained severe injuries to their heads and bodies and were rushed to the Provincial Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead shortly after arrival.

The bodies have been kept at the hospital mortuary for post-mortem, while the police have detained the truck driver, Manoj Thapa (approx. 35) of Tanahun, along with the vehicle for further investigation.
