KATHMANDU: Former Minister for Communication and UML leader Gokul Baskota has expressed criticism over the party’s recent work division, suggesting that it reflects a rigid and command-based organisational structure.

In a Facebook post, Baskota used a satirical tone, stating that he has no knowledge of subjects such as astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, zoology, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, or engineering.

However, he added that despite this, the UML’s current work division gives the impression that thinking is not the role of members, and that their responsibility is limited to following orders and “fighting,” comparing the structure to a military organisation.

He further questioned the party’s functioning by asking artificial intelligence how the UML can become the number one party.
