SURKHET: Three people lost their lives after drowning in Surkhet on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office in Surkhet, 14-year-old Samjhana Thapa and 12-year-old Kalpana Rawat from Birendranagar Municipality-10 drowned on Saturday evening while swimming in the Tuni River.

Similarly, 18-year-old Ramesh Pun from Gurans Rural Municipality in Dailekh also drowned on Saturday in the Dahatal (Daha lake/pond).
