CHITWAN: Political parties and organizations from several countries, including India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have extended congratulations and best wishes to the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on the occasion of its first National Convention being held in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

The messages were read out by RSP leader and Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal during the convention’s inaugural session on Sunday.

According to Khanal, the party received congratulatory messages from prominent political leaders and organizations across Asia and beyond.

Among them were Nitin Nabin of India’s BJP, the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

The RSP also received messages from ruling parties and major political organizations in Bhutan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and South Korea.

In their messages, the international political parties praised the mandate given by the Nepali people to the RSP and expressed confidence in the party’s role in promoting Nepal’s stability, development, and prosperity.
