BIRATNAGAR: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), announced on Friday that a collaborative process with the CPN (UML) will begin immediately, stressing the urgent need for unity among left-wing forces.

Speaking at a party unity and training event in Biratnagar, Dahal shared that the party is also in continuous dialogue with other leftist groups and the democratic Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

Known throughout his career for using the term “breakthrough” or “disruption,” Prachanda claimed that the party’s upcoming general convention would witness another major political shift.

“Watch out for Prachanda’s final breakthrough now. It will create a new wave in the country’s politics,” he asserted.

Additionally, he noted that the party is expanding its international relations.

To this end, co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal is currently visiting Russia, while Prachanda himself is scheduled to leave for Sri Lanka soon.

He urged party cadres to remain prepared for the upcoming political challenges.
