KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to conduct a comprehensive nationwide survey to evaluate financial customer satisfaction across the country.
According to the central bank, the study aims to gather insights into the public’s perceptions and experiences regarding the accessibility, quality, transparency, grievance handling, and protection of financial services.
To ensure a representative assessment, NRB will collect a total of 10,405 samples using a random sampling method.
The survey will span all 77 districts, selecting specific wards to encompass all types of local government units across Nepal.
The central bank expects the findings to play a vital role in reforming policies, programs, and regulatory frameworks aimed at enhancing financial customer protection and improving the overall quality of financial services.
Participation in the survey will be entirely voluntary, and respondents retain the right to skip any questions that make them uncomfortable.
NRB has assured the public that all collected data and personal information will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Statistics Act, 2022, and will be used solely for collective statistical purposes.
