KATHMANDU: Gold prices skyrocketed in the domestic market on Thursday, jumping by Rs 6,200 per tola (11.66 grams) compared to the previous trading day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is now trading at Rs 283,500 per tola, up from Wednesday’s rate of Rs 277,300.
Similarly, silver prices increased by Rs 180 per tola, bringing the new trading rate to Rs 4,450 per tola.
