KATHMANDU: A new bridge is taking shape at Ramdi, connecting Nepal’s Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. The Steel Tube Arch Bridge is currently under construction to replace the aging Steel Truss Bridge, which was built in 1971 and has deteriorated over the years.
The new structure is Nepal’s first concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge. The project is being constructed at a cost of Rs 277.1096 million.
