GORAKHA: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has said the pace of infrastructure development in the province has gained advanced in a speedy manner.
Inaugurating an operation of a motorable bridge over the Ludi Stream connecting Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-1 and Gorkha Municipality-12 in Gorkha district on Saturday, the Chief Minister was of the view that completing a development project in the given deadline is one of the key indicators of good governance.
The completion of the project along the Syauli Bazaar-Bhattphant-Manakamana road section, which remains as a strategic rural road project in Gorkha, within eight months of its commencement also conveyed a positive message, he added.
“This reflects the incumbent government’s commitment to good governance and development,” Pandey said.
The length of the bridge is 60 meters and as per its contract agreement, it was developed at the cost of Rs. 75.13 million.
